Quintessential Nannies LLC
1. Agency Role
Quintessential Nannies LLC is a nanny placement and family-support agency. We match families with qualified caregivers and manage scheduling, communication, and service coordination. Nannies are independent contractors, not employees of the client.
2. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to provide accurate household and child information, maintain a safe environment, communicate schedule changes promptly, pay all fees on time, and respect agency policies. Clients may not hire or solicit agency nannies outside of the agency, share nanny contact information with third parties, or request services outside the agreed scope.
3. Payments and Fees
All service fees must be paid before nanny profiles are released. Placement fees are non-refundable. Late payments may incur a 10% late fee. Extended-care deposits are non-refundable but may be credited at agency discretion. Travel, overnight, and holiday rates may differ from standard rates.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before service may incur a fee equal to 50% of the request. No refunds are issued for completed services. Replacement guarantees apply only within the terms of your signed agreement.
5. Replacement Policy
If a nanny is not a good fit, the Agency may offer up to three replacements at no additional charge, subject to availability. Replacements are not guaranteed for client misconduct, unsafe environments, non-payment, or direct hiring attempts.
6. Nanny Conduct and Expectations
Nannies agree to provide professional, safe, and reliable care, follow reasonable client instructions, maintain confidentiality, and report concerns to the Agency. Nannies may decline tasks outside childcare, including deep cleaning or heavy lifting.
7. Liability and Indemnification
Clients agree to indemnify and hold Quintessential Nannies LLC harmless from injuries caused by unsafe home conditions, undisclosed medical or behavioral information, client instructions that lead to harm, or misuse of services. The Agency is not liable for personal property loss, acts of independent contractors, or events outside our control.
8. Confidentiality
All personal information shared between clients, nannies, and the Agency is confidential and may not be disclosed without consent.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate the agreement with 14 days written notice, except in cases of non-payment, safety concerns, or policy violations. The Agency may terminate services immediately for misconduct.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, regardless of the client's location.
